Craig MacPherson has owned and operated the award winning "Craig’s Café" in Coquitlam for the past 8 years. The café has developed to become a popular local destination serving some of the finest breakfasts and lunches in the Tri-City area. It was because of Craig’s insistence on food quality and customer satisfaction that Craig’s Cafe" has gained and maintained it’s very loyal following.
Part of Craig’s focus on quality has been the coffee that the café sells.
The coffee is and always has been organic. With the experience gained at "Craigs" and with some of the unique products he developed at the café the development of Firefighter Gourmet Foods is a natural progression. Craig and his partner Jeff would really like you to become a "FFGF" regular much like our "Craig’s Café" regulars.
Before opening "Craig’s Café" Craig was a Realtor for 20 years helping hundreds of families make the biggest move of their lives. He developed and ran the Remax Sabre Golf tournament that donated thousands of dollars to the Eagle ridge Hospital’s Children’s wing. He has continued his charitable leaning with the café having donated over $8000.00 over the past 3 years to the "Children’s Wish Foundation" This charitable aspect will be an important ingredient in the day to day operations of Firefighter Gourmet Foods.
Jeff Cartwright is a professional Firefighter. Jeff Cartwright loves his coffee. So when Jeff decided to get involved in the coffee business the name "Firefighter Coffee" seemed to be a natural. Not only is Jeff a 13 year veteran with the New Westminster Fire Dept. but he is a successful entrepreneur with several varied business ventures in his resume. Jeff brings together his passion for quality, his charitable beliefs and his commitment to succeed to Firefighter Gourmet Foods. His goal, with partner Craig MacPherson is to create a family of healthy and interesting FFGF products that makes you want to come back time and time again. "If it is a Firefighter Gourmet Food" product then it’s gotta be good.
Jeff, Craig MacPherson and their families have been friends for over 12 years. Craig’s Brother Brad is also a captain for the NWFD.
